Owner/Instructor
Tracey Simmonds is the owner of The Pole Studio SA. Winner of Pole Theatre SA 2017 Pole Art Division, Pole Championship Series Africa 2016, IPC 2012 First Runner Up in Pole Fitness, Pole Art 2012 Finalist. She created and launched the first accredited pole instructor training programme in South Africa. She delivers the instructor training programme for the original 'The Pole Studio' in the UK with Sarah Brown.

Courtney started Pole Fitness at The Pole Studio in 2017. She has become an accredited Pole Fitness Instructor learning from Tracey Simmonds and the other certified instructors at the studio. Courtney enjoys competing, and has so far competed in a regional event and plans to compete nationally soon.

Alison started pole fitness at The Pole Studio in 2014. She has competed at a national level in Pole Sports and Pole Art, as well as performed and choreographed for national showcase events.
Alison is the owner and head instructor at The Lyra Project SA.

Jade started Pole Fitness in 2016. Since then she has performed in group and solo showcases, become an Aerial Yoga instructor as well as certified as an Intermediate Level Pole Fitness instructor with The Pole Studio.
Jade enjoys helping her students gain strength and confidence through this challenging and creative sport.

Instructor
Penny started pole fitness in 2015. She is passionate about the sport, finding it both challenging and exciting. Penny has been a certified instructor since 2018. She has performed in many showcases including Pole Unity SA and The Pole Studio showcase. Penny enjoys teaching at The Pole Studio, sharing her enthusiasm for pole fitness with her students.
Instructor
Tania trained in ballet tap, modern, Spanish and contemporary dance. She won awards at Pro Arte for Dance Artistry and Best Senior Dance Student. Later, she performed in various dance productions and worked as a choreographer. Tania is now a pole and aerial performer, instructor, award-winning competitor and national judge.

Nataschja has had a passion for fitness training for many years. A student of The Pole Studio SA since 2014; she has competed and performed in many national pole competitions and events. Nataschja became a certified pole fitness instructor in 2019. She is also a fully certified REPS SA Personal Trainer and Mat Pilates Instructor (HFPA).

Irma has been training at The Pole Studio since 2017. She performed in Pole Unity, the official fundraiser for the SA Pole Sports Federation, and has received awards for her pole fitness achievements in the Pole Icon Competition. Irma has a natural talent for pole fitness instruction, always bringing the best out in our students. She became a certified pole instructor at The Pole Studio in 2019.
